The Climate Action Reserve recorded a surplus of $594k for its fiscal year 2026 (July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026). Revenues increased from $5.8m to $6.8m, while expenses decreased from $6.3m to $6.2m. This surplus represents a year-over-year turnaround of approximately $1 million. All figures are unaudited.
These results reflect the Reserve’s continued growth and impact across the carbon market. During the year, the Reserve expanded programs serving voluntary and compliance markets globally, underscoring its resilience, commitment to quality, and dedication to service.
Looking ahead, the Reserve remains focused on continuing to deliver efficient project review times, expanding access to its high-quality carbon crediting program, and providing excellent customer service. Its strong financial position will support continued investment in innovation, program growth, and operational excellence.
