This course should be taken by any verifier interested in providing Lead Verifier or Senior Internal Reviewer services for projects under the Mexico Forest Protocol, Guatemala Forest Protocol, and/or Panama Forest Protocol. The training will cover the Mexico V3.0, Guatemala, and Panama Forest Protocols, as well as verification requirements. The course will be held in Spanish.
The training is scheduled for May 28-29, from 7:00 am – 3:00 pm PT (8:00 am – 4:00 pm Mexico City and Guatemala time | 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Panama time) on both days. The training costs 850 USD per person for both days to comply with the Reserve’s training requirement*; if you are already certified to verify projects under the Mexico and/or Guatemala Forest Protocols and wish to verify projects under one or more of the other covered jurisdictions (i.e. Panama, Guatemala, or Mexico), you may choose to attend only the first day of the course for a cost of 650 USD **.

Once registered, an invoice will be emailed with options to pay by credit card or wire transfer. Upon completion of the above, course preparation materials, homework and exam information will be shared.
The course will be limited to approximately 15 people. To ensure your place, please register and make payment as soon as possible.
*To receive a certificate to verify projects under the Mexico, Guatemala, and Panama Protocols, you must attend both days of training, submit homework, and pass the exam. For more requirements on how to become a lead verifier, please consult Verification Program Manual.
**If you are already certified to verify projects under the Mexico and/or Guatemala Forest Protocols and wish to verify projects under one or more of the other covered jurisdictions (i.e. Panama, Guatemala, or Mexico), you may choose to attend only the first day of the course (May 28), in addition to completing homework and passing the exam.
