The Reserve is kicking off the protocol revision process for its Mexico ODS Protocol. The protocol revision will explore adding additional halocarbons to the list of eligible substances for destruction. With the inclusion of halocarbons that are not defined as “ozone depleting substances”, the protocol name will be changed to the Mexico Halocarbon Protocol.
For more information on protocol development and the workgroup process, please see the Mexico Halocarbon Protocol webpage at: https://climateactionreserve.org/how/protocols/mexico-halocarbon/
