The Climate Action Reserve is pleased to invite you to a webinar discussing new opportunities for accelerating action on climate change. As we have known – and the US’s Fourth National Climate Assessment and the IPCC’s Special Report on Global Warming of 1.5 degrees reminded the world – humanity is running out of time to address climate change and avoid drastic, irreversible impacts. In this webinar, the Reserve will discuss its new Climate Forward program, how it can be utilized as a new strategy to reduce emissions and how you can be involved.
Climate Forward provides a means for companies and organizations to proactively invest in the development of a wide variety of GHG mitigation projects to balance against emissions they will be generating through activities such as construction of a distribution center or housing development. The program also provides a way for project developers to undertake emissions reduction projects that will yield meaningful results but that aren’t economically feasible in the current market. If you missed when this webinar was held on January 19, please join us on February 13 to learn more about Climate Forward and the opportunities associated with it.
