The Reserve released the draft Soil Enrichment Protocol Version 1.0 for a second public comment period. This release comes after the Reserve reviewed and responded to comments received during the first public comment period. The protocol provides guidance to account for, report, and verify greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions associated with projects that enhance soil carbon sequestration on agricultural lands through the adoption of sustainable agricultural land management activities.

The Reserve is hosting a webinar to discuss the draft protocol, revisions made since the first public comment period, and to solicit further public comments. A recording will be made available following the webinar.
