This is a mandatory course for lead verifiers wishing to carry out verification of forest projects in Guatemala. This training will review the rules for project eligibility, quantification, performance monitoring and reporting. It will also cover the activities and procedures for completing the verification of these projects under the Reserve’s program. To receive lead verifier certification for these types of projects, you will need to pass the course exam.

Training Policy: This training course requires the completion of a pre-training assignment and an exam. The assignment and exam must be completed independently. It is strictly forbidden to consult others and/or plagiarize other people’s work in order to complete the assignment and/or exam. Failure to complete the coursework independently may result in action against the individual verifier or verification body organization by the Reserve, including revocation of an individual’s or organization’s accreditation under our program.
