Version 1.0
The Reserve is modularizing its Mine Methane Protocol. The protocol will address GHG emission reductions associated with destroying methane that would have otherwise been vented to the atmosphere from active and abandoned underground coal and Category III gassy trona mines.
The Reserve’s modular format consists of the Mine Methane Protocol that contains guidance applicable across all jurisdictions and jurisdiction modules that contain geographic-specific guidance.
